Raymix feat. Madonna and BeeGees - Music Fever (2002)

We're in 2002 and yet another mix with the Beegees with a Madonna twist this time. Kinda nice about how the "Night Fever" edits went thru that mix. Another dusty but still groovy mix - Enjoy !

raymix feat Byron Stingily and the BGs - Staying Funky (2002)

A little BeeGees now. Yes I loved remixing them even back then (and still!). Mixcoast, a French producer and a good friend got a radio show in France on WIT FM and played a set of discohouse remixes and played a lot of my stuff including this one on the air. I was very pleased to know that many folks from overseas could hear me on real radio. This is one of my sweatest memory in 2002.

DJ Amanda and raymix - Work ur body (studio 54 raymix) [2000]

Here's a remix I made for DJ Amanda back in 2000 - This mix caught attention to MozMorris, DJ producer in the UK and he played it at Flamingo, a famous gay bar over there. He had a shoutcast show on Winamp and also gave me a lot of air with this track. Like everything else here on Raymix Retro, don't mind the obviously poor mastering. Done with Acid Pro 2.0 in year 2000. Enjoy this old mix again !

For my 1st post here, I would like to introduce one of my Hardhouse mixes (not UK Hardhouse but even Hardhouse with a banging kick) from "Hittin' Hard on da Floor" that contains 11 megamixers. This is the first one of this serie. Anything goes in these mixes, from house to euro to hard, even rock or TV jingles with MASSIVE sampling, always with a touch of humor. I made this in 1999 with Acid Pro 1.0 (!!) , how time flies ! Enjoy this old piece of mix :)

Okay, it's all new and fresh idea I got today there's not much here I know.

I'll post many of my old productions here on this blog. Why another blog ? because I wanted to draw a timeline between 1997-2005 and 2010 remixes & mixes.

Be prepared to get some stuff here soon when i'll have spare time to do it. Real life, day work and new remixes takes most of my free time.
